A pretty spot that’s kept tidy, but when we arrived around 9 pm our rooms weren’t ready and it took about 20 minutes to sort out. The staff could only speak Vietnamese, so the place didn’t feel like a typical Western-friendly hotel. During both nights there were local birthday parties, and the booming boombox music blasted across the site, drowning out any attempt by our group to have a quiet gathering or even a simple conversation. On the second night we asked management to lower the volume; they said it wasn’t possible but would stop at 9 pm, yet the music kept going until 10 pm.
