Everything was fine, but the resort is huge and there's no shuttle between areas; walking can be too much for older or younger guests.

We liked how easy it was to get to the parks, the variety of dishes at Xentral, the comfy beds, the huge slides, the beach access and the excellent fish at restaurant TamaMón. However, checking in took three hours, the concierges gave us wrong info, the apps didn’t show everything needed to book activities, the good restaurants were already full on arrival and some didn’t allow kids, the hotel’s communication made it impossible to plan reservations (booking directly would have been better than via a third‑party site), we couldn’t do a catamaran because it was sold out for all four nights, practical details were missing so we couldn’t enjoy all the services and parks, several staff members were unfriendly and unhelpful, the map was tiny and not detailed, our “direct‑pool access” room turned out to be just a 60‑cm slab, the TV only worked on the last day, and there were far too many extra‑fee activities in the parks that weren’t included.

“Flipping Sensational”

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at; I don't have time to list all the brilliant aspects, but it was pricey for us and yet worth every penny after our stay. The dining was very meat‑heavy, which didn't feel aligned with their sustainability goals, but I was thrilled to discover a plant‑based restaurant that was absolutely amazing!
