The hosts were very friendly and greeted us personally, explaining everything; however, the dishware was insufficient—only four glasses for four people, missing wine glasses and small sake cups.

The modern two‑storey home is in a great spot, just a short walk to the gondola, and the owners were lovely, handing over the keys in person and clearing the snow daily. The house offers ample living space, decent bedrooms, a comfy lounge with a smart TV, and convenient parking up front; the food van is at the end of the street. Walking to the gondola and sipping drinks on the mountain was a nice change after a week in Furano town, and the drive home after boarding was hassle‑free. It’s a solid alternative to hotel‑style lodging in Kitonomine. The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear each other and sometimes the neighbours, but it wasn’t a big deal; the entry area feels cramped, and while there’s a rack for skis and boards, it’s tight to put on or take off shoes—manageable for two or three people, but trickier with more guests or friends visiting.

The accommodation was huge, clean, and comfortable, and it supplied everything we needed. Having a washing machine and dryer was a lifesaver, letting us wash our undergarments nightly after skiing. The owners were very friendly and quick to answer all my questions before and during the stay. The only downside was that the gondola area was a walk away, which meant carrying all our gear; we treated it as a warm‑up each morning. Still, it sat right between Lawson and the gondola, so it wasn’t too far from anything we required.
