The guesthouse felt like a tidy slice of old‑world Austria, run by a friendly lady who kept everything spotless. The Alpine paintings and the little animals roaming the common areas gave it a relaxed vibe, and the sauna was a nice extra after a day on the slopes. It’s right by the ski bus stop, so getting out and back was a breeze, and the no‑frills approach actually worked in its favour.

Breakfast was solid – I could even order fresh fried eggs, and the bread was always fresh with plenty of choices for everyone. The room itself was fine, but the mattress cover and sheets are showing wear; they’re clean but have obvious thread‑bare spots that need replacing. Overall, a decent stay if they upgrade the bedding.

The hotel sits a fair distance from the ski lifts, but the shuttle service runs reliably, so getting up the mountain wasn’t a hassle. Inside, everything was tidy and the breakfast was acceptable, though nothing spectacular. If you don’t mind a short bus ride, it’s a workable base.

The name says it all – I expected the sauna to be part of the package, but it never turned on for us. Even when I offered to pay extra, they turned me down, citing a laundry backlog, which felt like a bait‑and‑switch. It’s disappointing to advertise a sauna you can’t actually use.

We felt truly welcomed by a very sweet host, and the Austrian‑style décor was both cozy and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, and the beds, duvets, and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. The room offered a great view, the ski storage was spacious, and the ski bus stopped right outside.
