The barking dog across the hall was annoying, breakfast was non‑existent, and a staff member complained that her replacement didn’t show up while she sat outside in slippers smoking, leaving breakfast untouched. The room smelled like cat pee and needed a lot of maintenance. The only bright spot was the staff who checked me in.

The room was fairly clean and the bed was decent, but the bathroom had some substance on the wall and the shower was in poor repair. When I tried to have coffee at 7:00 a.m., there was none available and no staff around to fix it.

The remodeled room looked nice, yet it was in terrible condition overall.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable, but when we arrived the first room was filled with a cloud of aroma‑improver so thick we couldn’t see across it. When we opened the door the cloud drifted into the hallway, obscuring our view there as well. The second room’s TV didn’t work the first night, but the next day they moved us to a new room with a functioning TV. That night we found a large toad on the floor and I had to catch it and toss it outside. On top of that, they never offered maid service; we had to go to the desk to get towels.
