“Terrible - left early”

The breakfast was decent, yet the place was probably the worst I've stayed in; the room for three was absurdly small—no room for our suitcase and the only hang‑space was over my son's bed. The bathroom was cramped, leaving my partner, a slim guy, barely able to sit on the toilet. The air‑con failed, and when we asked for help, a staff member told my partner to leave while she was eating dinner. We couldn't open the window because the area was noisy and there were drug deals just meters away, so it wasn't safe to leave it open. It wasn't suitable for kids at all, and the experience was so bad that we checked out a night early—a first for me.

The hotel sits just minutes from Gare de l'Est; I stayed one night and they held my luggage until my evening train. They were very helpful when I couldn't activate my Interrail pass at a nearby restaurant and panicked to use their wifi.

“Overall, I would not come back. I previously staid in the same location for the same price but better place.”

Close to the stations and the staff were nice, but the elevator was broken and I had a room on the 4th floor, so I had to haul my luggage when I checked out—staff helped on arrival, which was good. Still, what about someone with a disability or bad knees? There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom and it wasn’t cleaned properly.
