The location was perfect for a hell tour, and the staff were warm and friendly. The hot water was good, but the beer vending machine was broken.

The breakfast time was shifted so I could check in without waiting, and the food, though limited, tasted great. It was so hot that I drove, but the hotel is within walking distance of the hell tour, which I liked. The staff who helped me at check‑in were very good. The bath was tidy, with the staff clearing the wash area. The room was clean. For my birthday trip, the parking fee was waived—thank you. The welcome drink only offered coffee and kids’ juice packs; I wanted water or tea. The vending machine was only on the first floor, and there was no sign for it; I would have liked one in the second‑floor lobby too. The elevator smelled like a fragrance. After using the toilet, I had to open the bathroom door to wash my hands, which bothered me. The dinner plan wasn’t included, but after check‑in I was told about the dinner location and menu, and it was awkward to explain to my family that the plan wasn’t booked. The front desk and the guide were different people, so it was unavoidable.

The hotel is modern and excellent, located near the Ado, and you can walk to all of them. There is a discount for visiting the nearby Oniyama Jigoku. Rooms come in Western and European styles; we chose a traditional Japanese room with tatami and futons. The room was beautiful, very clean, had a private bathroom, soft futons, and a view of the smoking Ado. I liked sitting by the window, sipping tea, and watching the interesting view. The onsen has both open and closed sections; the open part is finished with natural stone, lots of greenery, and it was very cozy to relax there and recover from a day of walking. The Japanese‑style breakfast had many dishes to choose from, all tasty. The hotel has its own souvenir shop where you can buy local cute items. The staff are very attentive and friendly.
