“A beautiful building conversion minutes from Lake Bled”

I stayed in a beautifully designed room that felt like a little capsule, complete with everything I needed and a view of the mountains where a hot air balloon would rise each morning. Mateus, the host, let me borrow a bike and recommended the trip to Vintgar Gorge, which was well worth it. The place is about a 15‑minute walk from Lake Bled, and I liked having the garden and countryside views right outside. I loved it all.

The property was a gorgeous spot with an amazing view, located at the end of the village and giving off a unique vibe; there’s a place to sit outside and simply enjoy the scenery. Lake Bled is just 15 minutes away. It felt like an agritourism experience, and I could have given an even better review if not for the issue mentioned below. I was bitten by bed bugs on my first night, but the owner answered my call immediately at 0:30 AM, moved me to a larger and better room right away, and the next day he found the nests in the wooden wall paneling. I want to be fair—the response was fast, honest, and genuinely kind.

The surroundings were very nice, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the kids really liked the outdoor space.

“10/10 alles was perfect.”

The view of the mountains was stunning—it felt like a dream🥹. In the morning I would wake up, open my window, and enjoy the view every time. The room itself is also very nice; almost everything is wooden, giving a cozy feeling. It’s always a 20‑minute walk to Bled, but that wasn’t a big deal for me, and the bus is easy to catch. The only thing I found irritating was the shower spray.

The location is good, outside the strict center, 20 minutes on foot to the lake, and you can leave your car there—an invaluable feature. The owners are very helpful and friendly. It’s an ideal base for trips to Vitgar Gorge, Planica, or Fusine Lake, and the farm is prepared for children.
