This old traditional ryokan is worth a visit if you want that experience; the onsen was beautiful, very clean, and surprisingly not crowded, and the dinner portions were huge—come hungry! However, the building itself feels like it needs an upgrade.

I had my first experience at a Ryokan and truly enjoyed it; both the onsen and the dinner/breakfast were appealing and relaxing, and I would come back anytime.
