The bed was huge and comfy, the room was spacious with all the necessary gear, the windows could open and close, the blinds were good, the TV was nice, towels and all needed amenities were provided, it’s close to the center and the station, and the owner and team were easy to reach. The bathroom could use a few small tweaks and a bit more cleaning under the bed, but those are tiny details.

The owner was very available, and the room was huge and clean. However, the lights in the room didn’t work, and the neighbors in the adjoining unit left dishes in the shared kitchen, showing disrespect to those of us sharing that space. Reaching the apartment was tough because of its location and the many stairs, which made moving luggage awkward. A dog owner with diarrhea—whether from the adjacent unit or another in the building—didn’t clean the stairs of fecal matter, making the experience unpleasant and like a scavenger hunt. There was no air conditioning, only a fan.

Located in Tivoli’s historic center and close to attractions, the place was convenient. But there were 50 steps to get to the location, no air conditioning, an old dusty fan, a non‑working bar fridge, and it was noisy because it’s in a ZTL zone.

We stayed three nights in August, two people. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We used the shared kitchen a lot; it had everything needed. The location is central, just steps from Villa Gregoriana. The hosts were super friendly and answered any questions right away. They even recommended a great restaurant, La Farnarina. One evening, while our windows were open, a cute kitten from the neighbors’ roof visited us. The only downside, probably due to August heat, was the lack of an air conditioner, though the room did have a fan.

Everything was very cute and characteristic. The room, though lovely, clean, and distinctive, is on the third floor of a building without an elevator, as it’s in a historic center and the building is old. So for anyone with mobility issues, the stairs can be a bit difficult.
