The location on the high street of Conwy was good, and that was the only positive about the room. I had trouble finding parking; the advertised parking wasn’t available, so I had to park on the street a short distance away and the tea room staff were friendly but a little embarrassed. The room was dark, dingy, and had no natural light, with a small window overlooking a yard; the blind didn’t work properly and I expected it to break. The TV remote was old and worn, and an extractor fan from the room below hummed all night, located just outside the room in the corridor, making it impossible to sleep with the constant hum. I booked 2 nights for £158 but only stayed 1 night. I texted the owner to say I was not happy and would leave after 1 night, but received no reply and the attitude was very poor and unprofessional. I will make an official complaint for a refund or partial refund.

The room was lovely and fantastic, and the location was right in the middle of Conway; there was nothing negative.

The room was sweetly furnished and centrally located, but the bed was insanely uncomfortable. When I arrived, the shower door was hanging loose, there was no hair dryer, and the blinds were broken. That should have been caught during cleaning! The hair dryer was brought the next day and the shower door was fixed, but the blinds were not repaired. The room couldn’t be darkened properly, and since it was on the ground floor with no curtains, anyone could look in, so I didn’t feel comfortable. Maybe it’s whining at a high level, but a luxurious room was advertised. The whole room smelled like air freshener, and it seemed the last renovation didn’t even bother to wipe up all the paint splashes. Oh, and maybe the bathroom could be equipped with a toilet brush?
