The breakfast was good, but it was a shame I couldn't grab a sandwich or anything else in the evening since nothing nearby was available.

The place was simple but okay. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t meet my expectations of being well‑dressed and friendly.

The hotel was fine for one night, the breakfast was fine too. The location was quiet, and the walk to the city centre and restaurants was acceptable.

The hotel is one of the cheaper spots in Kristinehamn, and since the town is small, you can bike to most places easily, making it a decent base for exploring. They even put some toys in the breakfast room for kids, which is nice! The beds were super soft and a bit worn, and the vibe felt more like a hostel than a proper hotel. There’s no dinner service, and breakfast was pretty basic—especially the baked rolls, which were a letdown compared to the great bread we’ve had elsewhere in Sweden.
