Shanti was an amazing host, friendly, welcoming, and kept in touch before and during our stay; the Vicarage itself was spotless, and our ground‑floor room with a window seat overlooking the garden felt cozy and inviting; the bed was the most comfortable we’d had on the trip, and breakfast was fantastic; the location was superb, close to shops and within a short walk of the beautiful local gardens; the little touches—natural bathroom products and the shortbread we received when we left—made the visit memorable; we loved it, would return gladly, and would recommend The Vicarage without hesitation.
