Georgina was incredibly helpful, and the early breakfast option let us hit the trail early. Shared bathrooms stayed spotless, and the location was great. The only downside was the few plug sockets in the room, which made charging for two people a challenge—next time we’ll bring our own extension lead!

The old farmhouse in the dramatic valley was stunning, and it served as a perfect base for mountain walks. The owners were friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the herdwicks. All good.

George and the staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was absolutely awesome. The beds were very comfortable, and planning routes with drinks by the fire felt so Lake District. There was nothing to dislike.
