We had a great stay! The apartment was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. We also really appreciated that the host left water for us — such a nice and thoughtful touch. Everything was great!

A washbasin of 10 by 20 cm is not even big enough to wash your hands, and that’s the only water point in the property besides the shower. The bed was accessed via a steep wooden ladder, yet there was less than half a meter of space around it—impossible to use without breaking your neck. Total lack of comfort. Only suitable for young travelers, not for our 50+ age group, and the price for this room is out of proportion.

The first night of my road trip in France, Clementines House gave me a great start. I’ve heard that the mezzanine bedroom has steep steps, so if you have mobility issues it might not be for you, but it’s a lovely little hideaway and very clever. All the arrangements to get into the house were handled over the phone. A great example of making a small place work well.
