“Location was all there was that was good”
The spot was great—just three blocks from a subway and smack in the middle of a trendy area. I didn't enjoy anything else: the room was tiny, the TV only offered Chinese/Taiwanese channels, no English or streaming options, and the bathroom window faced a bare hotel wall overlooking an alley. Towels felt stiff and threadbare. The washer and dryer were tucked away in a storage room; the washer sat next to a toilet in one room, while the dryer was on a cabinet in another, hard to reach for someone under 5ft 6in. The only bright side was the staff, though they spoke very little English, making communication a challenge.
