Having a separate women’s floor gave me a sense of security, but it would have been even better if there were a refrigerator.

We stayed in a private room that was spotless, spacious, well heated, and faced the public bathrooms (very convenient) for a very good price. The hotel/hostel sits in a central spot at the start of the pedestrian zone, reachable in 30 minutes on foot from the station or by bus. The fifth floor hosts a huge open space with a large kitchen, billiards, armchairs, and washing machines, and the staff are very helpful. The room had no window, which wasn’t a problem for us.

The hostel was top‑tier, one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were very good. Restaurants and shops were nearby, and a short bus ride gets you to Kanazawa station. I highly recommend it for travelers on a budget. The only downside was that towels were left on the floor near the rooms; after using one you had to climb to the top floor to get a fresh one.

The shared rooms have private cubicles where the beds are larger than a capsule, plus a curtain for extra privacy. The beds are wide and very comfortable, and there’s a safe for valuables. The bathrooms are clean and stocked with all the amenities you need. For added security, you can only enter the women’s bathroom with a personal card. The common kitchen, dining area, and laundry facilities are great, and there’s a co‑working space and meeting room if you’re traveling for work. The location is exceptional—you can walk to any tourist spot. The problem was that several people on adjacent beds snored so loudly that even with earplugs we couldn’t sleep. Paying for a place to rest and not doze all night was frustrating. On the second night we had to ask for a room change because it was driving us insane. The staff had nothing to do with it, but the cabin design—open ceilings that let you hear everything—was a major issue.

Everything was perfect! The space was generous, the kitchen ideal for cooking, the Wi‑Fi great for work, and the central location perfect for exploring the city.
