I had called the hotel beforehand to let them know I’d arrive after midnight with a pet. They said the key would be left at reception. But when I got there around 2 AM, no key was ready and no staff were around. I was exhausted, it was very late, and I had no idea what to do. It was a very bad experience. I had also mentioned my pet earlier, but they never told me there would be an extra charge. They only informed me upon arrival that it costs 100 THB per night, and the staff’s attitude was quite unfriendly. The floor of the room was dirty, and no slippers were provided. Overall, the stay was disappointing.

The only good thing was the location; everything else was disappointing. If you book a shuttle you won’t get one, and the phones never pick up. The cleanliness was mediocre, and the staff were no nicer.

The design is very cute, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with pretty colorful windows. The front desk was sometimes empty; even after calling we couldn’t reach anyone.

The property is beautiful, rooms are large, water, tea and coffee are provided daily, the Wi‑Fi is generally strong, and the place is quiet. Common areas are cleaned and maintained each day, and utensils and bowls are available. Rooms can be switched to a brighter one or the mattress can be swapped, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The outdoor areas are nice, the AC works, and it’s good for a 1‑3 week stay or for exploring nearby mountains. However, when we stayed for a month the room wasn’t cleaned beyond the daily toilet, garbage and towels, so parts of the bathroom became gross. Bedding was often left dirty and we had to strip it ourselves if it needed washing. Pigeons were present at 6:30 every day. The room we were first given was dark, smelled strongly of mold, and noisy from the next door. All mattresses range from firm to very hard—like sleeping on a yoga mat over a wood floor, which might be good for some. The hotel is far from the city if you want to visit often.
