The hotel is a comfortable walking distance from Mokpo Station and the main historic attractions, which let me drop my luggage in the morning, wander around, check in around 3 pm, relax and then head out again for dinner – very convenient. The building is brand‑new and clean, and the ocean view showing Samhakdo was lovely. Nothing in particular stood out as a problem.

When I first got to the building, it looked sad and poorly decorated—a concrete slab structure. I was ready to leave for another place, but the room itself was clean, neat, sparse, yet well equipped, even with a water purifier. It’s great for exploring Mokpo, close to the train station, and there’s a nice restaurant on the first floor. The plastic flowers were terrible and the hallways were poorly lit. It’s sparse, and you have to return the room keys or you’ll be charged a hefty penalty.
