The location is good, but when it gets hot an air conditioner is required.

I couldn’t locate the hotel at all, so a local finally pointed me to the grill bar next door. The woman there was very rude and said they had no reservations for yesterday evening. A friendly, helpful person translated for me and asked if we had a reservation; I said yes, she asked for the name, I gave it, and he brusquely replied, “Documents.” By then we’d already eaten at the grill bar, used the toilet paper in the washroom, dealt with dirty cutlery, and tasted poor‑quality food, so I decided to leave. It was late at night, but we talked to a couple of taxi drivers who took us to a place that was very clean, helpful, and where we stayed. I have used this hotel only once before and that was the only time I had a place that was this unsatisfactory. Never again – I will be much more cautious when picking a place. I don’t know where other customers have stayed, but this is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had! The grill bar was so dirty that I couldn’t even look at the ‘hotel’. I had knocked on the doors earlier with no response. And the woman at the grill bar was clearly not interested in having us as guests, so we obliged and went elsewhere, to this place which is lovely. Everything could have been better, starting from the ‘hotel’ for a few rooms they rent out in the noisiest nighttime partying part of Subotica, to the denial that I had a reservation.
