Rara Guest House turned out to be the best place to stay in Waisai; the rooms were spotless, always exceptionally clean and well maintained. I had planned only two nights but ended up staying six, which says everything. Breakfast is served every morning, a nice extra that adds great value. The staff were always incredibly kind, attentive, and happy to help, answering all my questions, giving excellent recommendations, and doing everything they could to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Waisai. Highly recommended!

Our family, with my mom, had an amazing experience at Rara Guest House! Even though it was a transition hotel before going to Sorong and the island, it far exceeded our expectations. First, shout‑out to the host Dwi – he’s very talkative, culturally rich, and you learn a lot chatting with him. Most importantly, he was extremely helpful – without his timely reminders and assistance we would have missed the public boat. The rooms were clean, cozy, and the staff were always sweeping. His attentiveness and enthusiasm moved all of us. He also recommended restaurants (with lunchboxes) that were incredibly tasty, and every meal left us satisfied. We booked the Blue River day tour and the Wilson Bird Watching directly at the hotel, both of which were super fun and ran smoothly. The partner drivers and staff were very responsible, making the whole trip reassuring. In short, I strongly recommend Rara Guest House! If you’re coming here, choosing this place is a no‑regret decision. Thanks Dwi, thanks to every staff member! ❤️

The place is close to the port, which is perfect if you decide to leave Raja Ampat. It’s in front of a resort where you can buy breakfasts and lunches, and they’re delicious. Chino is the best.
