The Avenue Plaza Hotel

I appreciate the cleanliness, the staff are kind and accommodating, and they are attentive. On my last day I was handed an envelope with my invoice, which I didn’t open until I got home to Manila; it listed a Tiramisu Cake for 200 pesos. I’m absolutely sure I didn’t order that cake because I’m diabetic. I did have breakfast that morning and paid for an extra guest in cash. I’m not sure why they charged me for a slice of Tiramisu Cake. It may have been a mistake, but all I ask is for careful charging. I know for sure there was a group of ladies gathering that day on Aug 15; someone must have heard a wrong room number and charged it to my room 206. That’s all I have to share, but overall everything met my expectations. Thank you and I will definitely return.

We appreciated the staff’s politeness and the room was clean. The hotel’s location is perfect for a walk to the Basilica and nearby restaurants, and it’s very accessible to any part of the city.

The place sits in a great spot, but it’s not ready for guests – no face towels, robes, slippers, or bath towels.

The staff were very courteous and helpful, especially Ian, the shuttle bus driver, who went out of his way to get me a bus ticket to Manila after my Cebgo flight was cancelled.
