The resort is large with plenty to do, and the main pool is very spacious, though the reception was not very flexible.

“Unas buenas vacaciones”

The hotel overall looks very good and our room was large, modern, and practically new. The complex has several pools: a very pleasant main pool, another in the water‑slide area, and one exclusive for Preferred guests. Except for the last one, which we didn’t use, the other two areas seemed very good. There were plenty of loungers available, but many lacked a mattress. If you didn’t get up early to grab a spot, it was quite likely you’d end up with a lounger without a mattress. For activities, there are many options for all ages and the entertainment team does an excellent job keeping the atmosphere lively and encouraging guests to join in. We especially want to highlight Sergio, Mar, Arturo, David, and Michelle, who were very pleasant to share activities with during our stay. The hotel Wi‑Fi worked really well, giving us good, stable connectivity throughout our stay. The hotel also has several restaurants and a good variety. Breakfast is served at the buffet, and Preferred guests also have access to El Patio, a Mexican restaurant. For lunch, besides the buffet, there is Bluewater, specializing in fish. We want to especially praise Eduardo, whose service as a waiter was exquisite, as well as his fun and friendly personality. At night there is much more variety, and besides the buffet, different restaurants open depending on the day: Asian, fish, Mexican, French, and Italian. We liked the French a lot, but our favorite was the Italian, where Enrique, as the head waiter, and Javier, as the waiter, served us superbly. We also enjoyed the Mexican shows on Saturdays, with rancheras and typical dances. The first Saturday was especially good: the show seemed amazing, the food was very good, and the service was very fast. The main negative point was the lack of mattresses on many loungers. Although there were plenty of loungers, many were without a mattress, so if you didn’t get up early it was easy to end up using one without it. We also noticed significant differences between the two Mexican shows on Saturdays. The second was organized with the beach. We went early and got a spot, though our location wasn’t the best, as we were relatively on a corner. The amount of food seemed somewhat smaller than the previous Saturday and the service was much slower: in our case, drinks arrived when we were already having desserts. In addition, we saw a line to access the show, something that didn’t happen the week before. Finally, on our last day the airport transfer was scheduled for 16:00 and we asked the hotel if it was possible to keep the room a bit longer, even just an hour, to wait comfortably until departure. They told us it was not possible, not even for a paid late check‑out. Given that the transfer was at 16:00, we think it would be a detail the hotel should try to facilitate when there is availability.

“La pasé muy bien con los eventos de música sólo que que acaba muy temprano el sport bar”

I really liked the friendly treatment from the staff in the play area; my children and we felt very safe, and the boy Arturo was always attentive. The bathrooms, however, have doors that don’t close properly, which is an issue for teenage children.

The facilities, amenities, services, and staff service are all excellent, but sargassum was seen in large concentration just behind our room.
