The living room is spacious, the view is beautiful, it’s clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and blankets were provided. When a small issue arose, the owner fixed it immediately.

The location is strategic. The description is wrong: it says 5 rooms but there are only 4, 2 bathrooms instead of 3 mentioned (the third is just a toilet). Mold is visible on the top‑floor room. Cleaning is very light—very dusty, dirty dishes, high humidity. There’s little kitchen equipment and dishes. Water damage on the second day, apparently due to weather (we, the tenants, had to clean the flood, the kitchen was flooded…) and then we couldn’t use the dishwasher or washing machine, which was a problem for 9 people over 7 days. Work was done one morning (the penultimate day) without prior notice from the owners: noise, power cuts… In the end the owners only covered the laundromat costs and the cost of 40 cardboard plates (4 €), ignoring other damages. Driving to the laundromat takes 20 minutes one way, dishes had to be washed by hand for 5 days for 9 people (great vacation!). Noise from the work (no prior notice, early morning, kids involved) and we had to clean the house after the flood… The owners only noted the presence of 12 people instead of 9 on the day of the flood, even though my sister‑in‑law, vacationing with her mother‑in‑law in Madeira, came to help with her two boys to manage the flood… they blamed us for offering her a drink afterward! (After 2 good hours of cleaning…) shameful…
