The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was sensationally good with a wide and varied selection. Highly recommended! The rooms were worn out; for example, light switches hung off the wall. We happened to stay here during the horse market, which gave us a 5‑day (4‑night) stay. Unfortunately, the room was never cleaned, there was no towel change, and I had to fluff the beds myself. That was fine for us, but with a nightly rate of 144,00 € including breakfast, that comfort should have been present.

“Sehr nette Pension im Zentrum von Havelberg”

Breakfast was sensational, offering something for every taste, a rarity in such a small inn. We found the breakfast room charming, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, with plenty of storage, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a kettle. The central location with a view of the castle was ideal. Only a few minor issues: the beds were quite saggy and the mattresses too soft. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay and the beds were not made. That didn’t bother us, but a heads‑up would have been nice. It was also a shame that the beer garden was closed.

“Aufenthalt und Domweihfest rundum gelungen.”

Right in the old (island) town, 200 m from the cathedral. Extremely quiet, with the annex set back from the street and no car traffic. Tea preparation and a fridge in the small kitchen. Bright room with windows on opposite sides, letting me set a gentle breeze at night. Wonderful for summer temperatures. Breakfast was hearty; whenever something was about to run out, it was replenished. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for the cathedral festival. If I ever return to Havelberg, I’ll stay here again.
