“Clean room and bathroom, nice view on ushguli and the mountains”

The room and bathroom were spotless, and the owner’s daughter spoke fluent English; we could drop off luggage for the day at no extra cost and pick it up later without any hassle. The Wi‑Fi password wasn’t in the room but was provided on request, and there was an electric heater and a place to hang clothes outside. The only downside was that the host didn’t offer any food, but there were plenty of good options nearby.

The location is great—right by the Lamarin church and very picturesque, with a quick drive across the road to the Shkara glacier and several nice cafés. The private bathroom comes with towels, and breakfast can be ordered. It can get pretty cold at the start of October, so visiting in summer is better; the room’s heater isn’t very effective, especially since power outages happen often, rendering it useless. A small stove would make it more comfortable.

“Calm and cozy cottage”

The cottage’s view is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains and nature that I really enjoyed; it’s a shame it was only a one‑night stay. The host was friendly and always available, smiling and ready to help, and the breakfast was good, giving a nice start to the day. Being on the hill means no street noise at all, and the place looks even better in person than in photos. I’d definitely return! The only thing I didn’t like was that, despite the heating, it can get chilly on cold nights; I brought thermals, a scarf, and Alpaka socks, and it was fine, but those sensitive to cold might want to look elsewhere and miss out on this beautiful cottage.

“Sehr zu empfehlen”

The location is superb and the people are very nice; we felt so comfortable that we spent a whole day relaxing on the large meadow in front of the door with a view of the mountains. Thanks to Barbare, we had a wonderful time.

The host speaks fluent English and the place offers perfect views and is close to the glacier road.
