Characterful, beautiful location, great on‑site parking. The staff were friendly, warm, and helpful. The room was roomy and stylish, with thoughtful and generous tea/coffee facilities, high quality and variety. There’s nothing to dislike! I would gladly return.

Everything that’s why we keep coming back. Nothing

The hotel looks gorgeous and sits in a breathtaking spot. Our bedroom was spacious, spotless and incredibly cozy. The dinners were tasty, and breakfast was just as good. We had to leave early, but the staff were fantastic, making sure breakfast was ready and everything was set so we could depart on time. Nothing could have made our stay better; it was flawless. I only wish we could have stayed longer than one night, and we’ll definitely return soon.

A lovely old pub that I’ve known for over 40 years. Steep stairs… but the staff very helpfully carried luggage upstairs.

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Our room was lovely, but the bed was a touch too large for the space because of the sizeable wooden headboard and footboard.
