“Loved it and will be back”
The spot was perfect and walking to every part of town, including the Vinters restaurant where we’d booked dinner, was a breeze. I didn’t stay long, so a longer visit would have been nice next time. I couldn’t light the fire but left a note for the host.

We enjoyed the old‑house vibe, its size, and the overall atmosphere. The furniture and décor could have been a touch better. Ongoing renovations were a bit disruptive but understandable, and our room had no sink—just a basin in the bathroom.

The owners are fixing the verandah, which will look great once finished, but most of it was off‑limits during our stay.
