The Onsens offered a truly relaxing experience, with a range of temperature pools and a sauna that added great appeal, all overlooking a beautiful lake. However, you won't catch a view of Mt Fuji from here, and the dining options nearby are quite limited.

This hotel is very peaceful and the staff are lovely. If you don’t have a car, you’ll find that there’s nothing to eat in the area, forcing you to shell out a fortune for taxis after 5.30 pm.

The service was great, the place was really clean, and it was very child‑friendly. The dinner was delicate and delicious, and they went out of their way to prepare a special kids meal for my child. The only downside is that the location is hard to reach without your own transport.
