The view from the room and the staff were great. Souris Sang spoke French and was very kind, offering helpful advice. The city itself is beautiful too. Nothing was wrong, though the breakfast preparation was a bit slow and not great.

Breakfast was just okay. The room was too small and uncomfortable.

The street was quiet and less crowded, the room was small but cleverly laid out so it felt spacious with a big bed. On the third floor we had to haul our luggage ourselves because there was no bell‑hop, the soundproofing was poor with the air‑conditioner humming loudly, breakfast offered little variety and was disappointing, and the price was more like a city‑center rate despite not being centrally located.

The lobby felt welcoming, yet when I opened my door it was pitch dark, I couldn't find a light switch, there was no key hook, and the lamp was tucked near the bed; after a while I had to use my phone's flash to see, so I left immediately.
