If you’re after a spotless apartment with all the amenities and friendly hosts, this little guesthouse is worth it; Daniella and Filippo are genuine Romans—friendly, smart, charming, and good-humored, and they’ll handle any problem without leaving you stranded. Some guests mention morning noise from the shop; it only lasts two or three minutes, so if you’re looking for a day‑long nap, you might prefer the Bulgari Hotel, which costs about 2,000 euros a night. In short, book a room at Chiara Stella quickly—you’ll have plenty of alternatives. I liked everything!

The room was spotlessly clean, but there was no breakfast. The queen bed turned out to be two twin beds jammed together, which made it a little uncomfortable, and the shower wasn’t great.

I really liked the welcoming host Daniela; she met me exactly at the time I requested, speaks only Italian but everything was very clear, no translator needed. The location is great, not the very center but close enough, everything could be walked to and I didn't use public transport at all. Nearby are cafés and supermarkets. The only drawback for me was that the windows faced the street and it was noisy. On the first floor below my room there's a supermarket and at 7am they start receiving goods, quite noisy.

Cleanliness, Daniela is amazing, very friendly and supportive. Great location, i. e. very close to Manzoni metro station (5 minutes walk), close to Termini station (15 minutes walk), 15 minutes walk to Colosseum. The apartment is on the elevated first floor and there is a grocery store right under it. Every morning it was a lot of noise around 7:00
