The overall cleanliness was good. The photos on the hotel’s page showed slippers, but none were provided on site; there was a slipper rack, so maybe they forgot to bring them. The free instant coffee was nice, but there were no cups, so I had to buy one at a convenience store. The description said there were four beds, but there were actually only three.

I landed at Uguisudani Station and had to walk 1.3 km to get to the hotel, but the neighborhood felt safe. The room was spacious, with a comfy sofa‑bed, a clothes rack, a nice shower and a Japanese toilet with a separate bidet. The duvets were the most comfortable I've seen, and the towels were generous. The décor was tasteful. On arrival I learned that to reach the door with the keypad you have to slide the patio doors open; they’re not locked but can be locked from the inside. Overall, I liked the place a lot. However, the metal bunk beds creaked loudly with every movement, disturbing sleep, and the top bunk might not be suitable for younger kids – check the design in the pictures. I was also surprised to find no kitchen equipment in the mini kitchen area; there were no spoons or cutlery, only chopsticks, paper plates, and paper cups.

The place was very centrally located and all key spots were within walking distance. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a cooking option that we didn’t use. The host offered a free shuttle to the airport. This was phenomenally good. We were three people with four large suitcases and a small carry‑on; everything fit in the car, and the host even picked us up at 5:30 am. Best service ever.

The apartment was comfortable and spacious for four people, far better than typical Japanese standards. The kitchen was not equipped; all necessary dishes were missing, even for minimal use. Adding them would make the accommodation more functional.
