The view is great, the restaurant and breakfast buffet are solid, yet the rooms lack soundproofing—there was a party nearby that ran late, though that might have been a one‑off.

The entire complex is nice, but noise from the opposite street and occasionally from the pool area with loud music can be quite disruptive.

I have been there before the location is ok near the centre and is large and on a fair bit of land but lake is more of a pond and has a swimming pool. It can be dark and dingy in places and still has 70s en-suites coffee rather than avocado. Staff not always helpful they tried to give me a rack rate room rather than the room i booked on Booking until I insisted. Breakfast I was one of two people there and largely ignored and staff not helpful and when I went swimming they tried to stop me going in because they had not got round to cleaning it it was nearly 10.00 am. This is not uncommon with previous experiences there. So, ok but could be better
