The property was a short walk from all the action, shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. Our hosts were amazing, above and beyond, super helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely stay there again.

The night‑shift employee was a very sympathetic and kind person. The mattresses were top. The accommodation is far from the sea and the city center. The access is cumbersome because the outer door doesn’t open by itself and you have to wait each time for someone inside to open it. There are no parking spaces. The operator is very unfriendly. The rooms are very small and don’t even have a refrigerator. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep, so you have to be very careful going up and down. Overall the accommodation is very cramped—there is hardly any space and not even enough room to store a suitcase properly. The place is also very sound‑prone, so you hear even the smallest noise from neighboring rooms. Given these many deficiencies, the price is completely inflated and in no way justified.

We stayed for 4 nights in the “Avlu” room in Ayvalık with my wife and had an unforgettable experience. Palacitta Guest House preserves its historic texture and authentic atmosphere with great care, a small but extremely charming and private establishment. From the moment you arrive, you feel as if you’re taking a short trip back in time. We can’t find words to describe the cleanliness; everything from our room to the common areas was flawless. Everything from the reservation process onwards was very professional and smooth. The warm welcome we received from the moment we arrived made us feel at home. Every morning the breakfast was prepared with great care, very tasty, and made with quality products. Starting the day with such a wonderful breakfast was a pleasure. What impressed us the most was the sincerity and hospitality of the owners. Every day their smiles and sincere interest made us feel truly valued. We recommend this place to anyone heading to Ayvalık with peace of mind. For us, Palacitta Guest House is now the only address in Ayvalık. When we come back to Ayvalık, we will stay here again without hesitation. Thank you for everything. We hope to see you again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What really stood out to me was the owner of the hotel, who was super friendly and helpful with all the local tips and even had some great conversations about his culture. The place felt like home, with a really positive vibe. My room was spacious, comfy, and quiet, and the Turkish breakfast was top-notch. My only minor complaint is that the hotel is a bit of a short walk from the city centre.

The renovation of this traditional house into a hotel is truly amazing. The owners have done a fantastic job of keeping the original charm while still making it feel modern and welcoming. The breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. However, the hotel's location is a bit of a trade-off - it's a bit of a trek to get to the city centre.
