Comfort Inn Owatonna near Medical Center

It was a nice place with friendly staff, but the beds are very firm and not very comfortable.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was really close to three places to eat and a gas station. When I tried to check in, no one was at the front desk; I shouted “hello, is anyone back there?” and got no answer. After a short wait I called, and they finally came to the desk when I told them I was there.

“Everything was good. Only issue was noisey piping or spa from room next to our room.”

I only got coffee and didn’t eat.

“Overall it was good. Bed was hard the the spa tub had a broken faucet handle which made it difficult to use.”

The location was great and the area quiet, and the room was clean. However, the walls and floor are very thin, so we could hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms and above us. The bed was hard, the room never cooled properly, and the faucet for the hot tub was broken.

Did not take advantage of the provided breakfast as they weren't open before we left the motel each morning. However there wasn't any hot water for tea in the lobby when we left. Hot water was barely warm. When arriving at the motel there were no rooms with my confirmation e-mail. Gentleman at the motel wasn't the friendliest. Had us rebook while standing in the lobby. Our room was not the greatest. Issues were the carpet was damp all throughout the room, mold on the wall, broken light switch plate in the bathroom, no working fan in bathroom, warped bathroom door from moisture. This room was very dated and showing lots of wear and tear
