The spot is convenient, within walking distance of everything. Breakfast, however, was mediocre with limited options, and there was no pool‑bar staff to serve drinks.

The breakfast was very good, varied and plentiful; the beds were comfortable, the rooms large, clean and quiet, and the pool was pleasant. However, the organization was lacking—my airport pick‑up never showed up, and when I called the property they first said “we forgot,” then changed the story to claim I hadn’t confirmed again; at departure we asked for an extra night because of a late flight and they charged the full rate plus the €20 breakfast fee even though we wouldn’t have used it.

The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The breakfast could use more variety, and the deep‑fried items should be served hot.

My two‑day stay turned out to be quite odd; we left white laundry to be washed and the stains weren’t an issue, yet at checkout a housekeeper entered our room, pointed out a towel with a bit of foundation as defective and refunded us for it; the hotel claimed all towels were hand‑washed, making machine cleaning impossible—a surprising claim for a large hotel—so I asked for the towel to be machine‑washed and for video proof, even though the laundry had posed no problem before; I’ve never encountered this before, and it felt like it might be linked to my skin colour, giving me a sense of racism; I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in the beautiful city, especially since many other nearby hotels don’t discriminate.
