“je ne recommande pas”

The breakfast was good and the staff were welcoming, and the bedding was of good quality, but I would not recommend this hotel because the room rates are outrageous for what you get. For over 100 euros a night you end up with a bathroom whose wall seam is moldy, stains on the bath sheet, a wobbly piece of furniture, no outlet near the headboard, damp spots on the ceiling, and the whole place feels like it's in its own swamp. We can hear what’s happening in the hallway or in the neighboring room.

The location is convenient and safe, within a 1.15‑minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The sheets are clean and the staff are very friendly, but the sound insulation is poor and the corridor feels a bit dirty.

“Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel”

When I arrived I had booked a single room and specifically requested a double bed based on the photos, so I was confident. I came to work and saw the condition of the room with a dirty, completely outdated plastic cabin. I asked for another room and they said they only had that one, blaming me for the situation. Nothing about email, cleanliness, or the room was mentioned, and the staff were very friendly but seemed to make no effort to straighten the broken iron that had attached my belongings, though they were kind enough to lend me a replacement.
