This country house was stunning, with a great bedroom, bathroom, and lounge area. The gardens were lovely, complete with pheasants, and the spot was perfect, close to the coast and South Lakes. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the hosts were wonderful.

Angharad and Chris welcomed us warmly and were incredibly accommodating and kind; we would gladly recommend them. The bed was comfortable, and the room, suite, and bathroom were excellent. The location was beautiful, with wildlife and breathtaking views right outside the window. They also gave us great local restaurant suggestions for dinner, which we appreciated.

The stay blew my expectations out of the water; the spot feels like a fairytale, the rooms are neat, cozy, and absolutely lovely, and the hosts went the extra mile to keep us at ease and were super friendly!

The room was clean, pretty, and had garden views, comfy beds, fresh flowers, a Nespresso machine, and fluffy towels; breakfast was excellent on both days, and the gardens and countryside views were gorgeous, with hosts who were friendly and warm.

We discovered a gem at Haverbrack Country House for two nights at the end of a fantastic Scottish holiday, and it wrapped up our trip perfectly; from the moment we arrived, Angharad and Chris made us feel incredibly welcome and their hospitality stayed exceptional throughout, and the house sits in a beautiful part of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Beetham, making it an ideal base for exploring the local area and the nearby Lake District; after a day in the Lake District, we happily escaped the crowds to the peace and comfort of our delightful suite, the Ullswater Suite, which is tastefully decorated, comfortable, and full of character, with a generous bedroom, bathroom, and separate lounge area that was perfect for relaxing in the evenings; the hosts consistently went above and beyond, recommending excellent local birdwatching routes, sharing invaluable local knowledge, and serving outstanding breakfasts made with locally sourced produce, and we especially appreciated the fresh flowers from the garden placed in our room, which added a personal touch to an already special stay; I honestly did not want to leave and hope to return in the future, and I would highly recommend Haverbrack Country House to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and welcoming place to stay.
