Everything about this stay was fantastic – the room and bathroom were wonderfully historic and decorated. The hotel is only a 5‑minute walk from the city centre, and the private car park is a real bonus. A private courtyard accessed through an archway with seating by a fountain is perfect for sundowners or a summer breakfast. I can’t find any negatives; this is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Superb location & setting within historic heart of the city. Made to feel welcome by friendly staff, room had super comfortable bed & dog friendly. High quality unrushed buffet style breakfast. No dislikes here 👌

Breakfast was great, and the rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, our room leaked, which dampened the carpet and left a damp smell. We reported it, but the issue was never fixed.

Außergewöhnliches Hotel mit familiärem Ambiente. Fantastisches Frühstück mit Liebe zum Detail. Lage könnte ebenfalls nicht besser sein. Kleine Anekdote am Rande, die zeigt, wie man hier um den Gast bemüht ist: Wir mussten am Abreisetag relativ kurzfristig zeitig am Morgen vor dem bereits mit der Buchung bezahlten Frühstück aufbrechen, woraufhin uns an der Rezeption ein kleines Lunchpaket als Ersatz angeboten wurde. Nachdem da irgendwas schief lief und das Lunchpaket nicht rechtzeitig fertig geworden war, hat man uns kurzerhand nachträglich (ohne dass wir uns beschwert hätten) als kleines Entgegenkommen die Getränkerechnung aus der Bar wieder rücküberwiesen

Excellent facilities, location, staff, and awesome buffet breakfast. Had a nice welcome for our anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend to travelers and friends. Would definitely return to this hotel if ever backing in Bruges. All good!
