The place no longer exists! I tried to check in at the “Seasun Hostel” and the woman who greeted me shouted angrily, “this house is not a hostel anymore,” and basically slammed the door in my face. They didn’t answer the phone. I spent almost two hours trying to resolve it! I called the booking client service, they confirmed it was closed, but I had to find another, more expensive place and they didn’t cover the full price.

The location was deserted. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere in an unfamiliar city. I guess they went out of business and forgot to tell me—yet still took my money and said they would refund me. If it existed, would the owners have told me they were closing or responded to my emails? I was left alone in the dark, in the middle of nowhere.

I had a very pleasant stay at Seasun Hostel; checking in was quick and hassle‑free, the facilities were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the bed was surprisingly large and comfortable—one of the best hostel beds I’ve ever slept in. The location was peaceful, off‑street parking was a nice bonus, and the hostel’s largely virtual communication gave it a self‑service vibe rather than a traditional hostel feel; everything was clearly organized, and my roommate was friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. The only minor drawbacks were a slight pet odor at times, possibly from a previous guest, and the room could use more drawers or storage compartments for personal belongings.
