The concept of the Bubble Tents is nice and unique, and we especially enjoyed the atmosphere at night under the starry sky. The heated beds were also very comfortable. However, for several Bubble Tents there is only one toilet, located in the same room as the shower. While someone is showering, the other guests have no access to a toilet. Our biggest issue was the temperature. The air‑conditioning and heating were explicitly listed, but when we called the host because it was extremely hot in the tent, he explained that due to the “magnifying effect” temperatures of about 45 °C in the Bubble Tent during the day are normal. He also said that the air‑conditioner provides “ice‑cold” air – which definitely wasn’t the case during our stay. If this extreme heat is normal, it would have made sense to turn on the air‑conditioner before arrival. Simply ventilating the Bubble Tent is impossible because of its design. At night it was cold and the heating function didn’t work adequately for us. If we had known that it’s nearly impossible to stay in the Bubble Tent during sunny days, we would have chosen another accommodation. Under these conditions we would not book again.
