Everything was great. We loved everything. The food was incredible, made with love and care and served just the same. I left each morning for the day feeling nourished and happy. The Onsen was so beautiful, well kept and extremely comfortable. It was my very first Onsen experience and I can’t imagine it having been better. The rooms were lovely and there were many washrooms available so you were never waiting to use one. Also! It’s so close to the start of the snow monkey park hike, incredible location. To be honest, we were slightly worried about the turtles. We hope that they have a large home where they swim around, and that they were only by the door temporarily. It would be sad if that was their life all the time. I trust that’s not the case.
