“Goed hotel, top locatie”

De kamers waren ruim en luxueus, met goede bedden en rustig gelegen. Locatie is top en vlakbij openbaar vervoer. Ontbijt zelf top met Cava of Unicum. De ontbijtzaal is te klein en als je pech hebt moet je in de rij staan

“Très bon hôtel”

The hotel was very pleasant, beautiful, and extremely well‑located; the rooms were a good size, everything was clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfasts plentiful. We were shocked to be asked to leave the breakfast room at 10 am. Breakfast is available until 10 am and then quickly moved to the kitchen, which is normal. What was even more surprising and shocking was that we were told to leave the room at 10 am, even if we hadn’t finished our coffee or peeled our apple. So it wasn’t that “breakfast is served until 10 am” but that you must have finished and left before 10 am. I add that depending on the day, some staff asked us politely but firmly, while others did so in a much less pleasant manner.

“A terrible choice and definitely not recommended.”

The location was fine, being in the city center, but the area is crowded with tourists, and I felt uneasy walking around after dark. Breakfast was terrible—everything was stale, the bread was old, the cakes were stale, and the cutlery was dirty. The rooms themselves were filthy: most bath towels had hair on them, the carpet was grimy, and the beds were unacceptable. The worst part was that a colleague’s neighboring room suddenly had about 30–40 black cockroaches crawling across the bathroom and the room, even climbing onto the bed and into the suitcases. Everyone panicked; the only thing the reception did was move us to a smaller room. Management’s response was utterly inadequate, as they seemed to think their handling of the situation was fine. Naturally, we avoided eating anything else at the hotel and left feeling deeply disappointed. This place does not deserve the star rating it claims.

Carat Boutique Hotel sits in a great spot right in Budapest’s center, making it simple to wander around the city and hit the main sights. The room was spotless and cozy, and everyone from the staff was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The only drawback was that some rooms don’t look out onto a street; instead they face the building’s rear, which can make them feel a bit dimmer and less inviting.

“Es decepcionante salvo la ubicación”

The spot was convenient and the daytime staff were helpful, but the room felt cramped like usual with Booking, faced an interior courtyard, the bed was uncomfortable, breakfast was limited, and the night staff were noticeably unfriendly when we arrived.
