“Beautiful Slice of Local & Traditional Customs and Cuisine”
The local, traditional Balinese community in Sesandan Village. The garden was beautiful, full of flowers, fruits, plants, and a few root vegetables (try the ferns too—tasty!). The host’s wife cooked delicious, fresh Indonesian meals almost daily—excellent, well‑balanced dishes. Telur, 101 ways, :-) Local ceremonies were experienced from preparation to post‑cleanup. What an honor! Extraordinary hospitality and limitless care and giving. It’s a gorgeous place you won’t want to leave (maybe I haven’t!). The only downside is that none of us can choose our neighbors or how they behave (though this is nothing like staying in Kuta or Seminyak with the raucous crowds).

Fantastic treatment with Hauguang (or how it’s spelled), a very attentive, kind, and interesting person.
The place has nice spots. It’s a decent location. My partner and I liked it. Maybe because I’m a local, I need a bathroom with a hose nearby for easier self‑cleaning. Overall, it’s fine.
