The location is good, yet the ground‑floor room suffered from noise coming from the room above, the door lock needed work, and the shower area in the bathroom had a noticeable mould problem.

Getting in was relaxed and easy, and I’d recommend it and stay again if I’m in the area; only a few minor damp issues with the skirting boards.

The setting is gorgeous and the staff are fantastic.

It’s a little hidden gem, a lovely place with great staff, but the bar being open or serving food in the evenings is a downside.

The staff were very understanding and helpful, going out of their way to assist me and my children with our accommodation needs; the location is beautiful, with horses out back and a lovely continental breakfast spread with meat, cheese, and much more; we stayed just for a night to visit friends in Wilmslow, but the venue’s facilities are amazing and I would recommend it; I stayed in the Shepard's hut and it was glorious, with nothing to complain about.
