Nothing good about this stay. I had the worst experience at Hotel Bhakti Sankul. The property was filthy and poorly kept. The reception staff were unhelpful and rude; I had to visit the front desk three times (at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM) just to get a towel, a bedsheet, and a proper room cleaning. Soap and body wash were missing from the bathroom entirely. The price I saw online was ₹1,049, but they demanded ₹1,200 at check‑in. After visiting Trimbakeshwar for darshan, we were 30 minutes late for check‑out and they charged an extra ₹500, raising the total to ₹1,700 for a stay that wasn’t even worth ₹1,000. When we protested, the staff behaved poorly and threatened us. I called the owner to complain and ask for a refund, and he brushed it off, saying he was in New Delhi and couldn’t help. The hotel is a scam: dirty rooms, awful service, rude staff, and hidden extortion charges. Avoid it.

The room and premises were clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and the staff gave no proper answer after several requests. Eventually we were moved to a different room, and the bed was less crampy but still not comfortable. They didn’t allow a one‑hour late check‑out, which was a bit inconvenient but manageable.
