“Dirty property with mould , leaks and serious maintainence and safety issues.”

I stayed at this property and unfortunately experienced multiple serious issues which I documented with photos and videos. Problems included: Water leaking through the kitchen ceiling; water dripping directly onto an electrical socket (serious safety risk); radiator leaking with visible rust; mould around the bathtub and other areas; 2 out of 3 blinds in my room were broken; bathroom window handle broken (I had to shower with the window open); loose window sills; loose towel rack; stained carpet; no air conditioning despite being listed (only a very dirty fan was provided). I reported this to and provided evidence. They contacted the property but said they did not reach an agreement and offered £40 travel credit instead of a refund. I am leaving this review so future guests can make an informed decision. I still have photo and video evidence of all issues mentioned.

Dirty bed, stained rug, fridge full to the brim, complex automate access doors.

Smooth check‑in. Free parking. Okay location. The most frustrating thing was the theft in my room. Our personal valuable stuff was stolen, reported, but no results. Please be careful. Our room was dirty inside, windows curtains didn’t fit, and sunlight came through early mornings.

“Worst place I ever stayed for one night!”

It is very bad don’t book here ever!! Everything was bad. It started when we arrive in the evening. We heard a loud noise we thought it was from the door lock but it was from the fridge. It made noise all night. So we could not sleep all night. Also was the room totally different than you see on the pictures. And totally not clean. There was mold and also blood on the wall and floor. We also got sick from being there for one night caused that it was really unhealthy and very unclean there. We had to leave as fast as possible there the day after for our health. We spoke with the accommodation first and after one call they were not responding anymore. Very unprofessional. Also called with booking a lot that night. Also not very good service of them. They hang up on us some times and we don’t get our money back after all this. The manager called us with the news that we don’t get the money back and that the accommodation is very clean. We had to buy a new accommodation last minute what was very expensive and we will never book something on Booking.cok again! What is clearly not the case see photos. PLEASE BE WARNED DON’T BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. So you don’t start your well deserved holiday in a very bad way like us.

It’s a very cozy house, typical of Britain. I liked the backyard and that I had access to a fully equipped kitchen. Cleaning must be improved in all common spaces… kitchen and bathroom.
