The apartment was lovely and tranquil, village‑like, with a Bavarian restaurant within walking distance. The bedrooms were nice and cool even when the outside temperature was high. The living room felt quite dark.

Since we happened to be the only guests, we enjoyed the wild garden all to ourselves, with occasional lawn mowing and chainsaw noises, and found peace there. We could hear many birds, even a Pirol, chirping, and saw a stag beetle flying; the lawn grew Gundermann. Nights were quiet. At first glance the apartment seemed tastefully furnished, but then you notice what’s missing. There are no wardrobes or even hangers for clothes. Window blinds would be desirable. The kitchenette is barely equipped. Rather than list everything, here are a few items that were present but insufficient: a very small, cheap Teflon pan with an uneven bottom, a small and a tiny saucepan, a grater, but only two pasta sieves. No pot for cooking pasta, no cutting board or knife, no bowl, no spoon… Bring your own basic cooking gear. There was no guidance on how to dispose of trash, so we left it there. The water had to run for a long time to get somewhat warm. It wasn’t a problem because it was warm outside, but rinsing was tiring. SMS communication was only moderate. The address and instructions on how to enter the apartment arrived promptly and precisely. Unfortunately, follow‑up questions were answered only after we had already started our onward journey. Call instead!

The area was good. The cleanliness was strongly questionable, and the exterior environment wasn’t properly prepared for guests.
