The location is very pretty. The hotel gave us free bus tickets. The coffee machine comes with capsules. The hotel creaks everywhere; it’s wooden on the third floor. The bathroom only had a tiny shower and a toilet. The sink was in front of the bed, so we couldn’t even pass. We only saw someone downstairs on the day we arrived. It wasn’t very pleasant. We had to ask for Bonponian shampoo.

It has everything you need. The sink, toilets, and shower are separate, which makes mornings easier 😃. The power outlets keep going down frequently (and are placed over the bed). Maybe a mounting solution could be added so it doesn’t bother.

The hotel’s location is good, right near the lake. For one night the room had exactly what we needed. It felt a bit outdated and maybe wasn’t the best value for the price (but it is Switzerland).

Reasonably priced. The building is made of wood, so it is noisy. Also rooms can get incredibly hot during tue summer. Open windows and a mini AC in the room didnt make the trick

The staff were extremely friendly, the place spotless, and the breakfast delicious. Even though the room was small, the single bed was surprisingly wide and I slept wonderfully. Getting to the city center takes about 10‑15 minutes by bus, which stops just a few steps away every half hour. Hikers can start right from here, for example on the Harderkulm trail. I had some technical issues with my luggage, but the employees responded immediately and with full effort. The hotel is very sound‑prone because the building is old and on a busy street, and guests are warned about this; earplugs help if you’re a light sleeper. The room is relatively small and rather spartan.
