I liked the location for boil fishing, but during my stay there was no boil fishing available, so I changed locations in search of it.
“Overall, our stay was good and fit our purpose of being close enough to the Peninsula.”
The beach location is beautiful, and the on‑site restaurant offers great‑tasting food. Unfortunately, our room had a persistent musty smell that wouldn’t go away; I think removing or replacing the carpet could fix it. When we first walked in, the overwhelming air‑freshener scent used to mask the musty odor was unpleasant. Aside from that, the room was clean and up‑to‑date.
The location was convenient, but the shower’s water pressure left something to be desired.

The spot is fantastic, right on the lakeshore with plenty of water‑sports or hiking options because Potawatomi State Park is right next door; jet skis can be rented onsite, and the nearby restaurant Mary’s serves good food and offers fish boil on certain days. It’s also close to Sturgeon Bay and Morning Glory Café, a great breakfast spot. Though the room was clean, had a good‑sized bathroom, a microwave, and a fridge‑freezer, it smelled musty when we entered; we had to open the door to the sit‑out and crank the fan to full blast. The odor improved slightly over time but never fully vanished. The room needs to be aired out for a few days and the carpeting replaced.

We met a friendly team that made us feel right at home, and the family vibe was spot on. It was a relief to find a place that didn’t feel pretentious like the others we’d seen. The free beer really added to the experience.
